3. Quotes & pricing
- Written quotes are provided in plain English before any deposit is taken
- Quotes itemise: panels, inverter, battery (if any), labour, scaffolding (if any), connection charges and the indicative STC discount
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
- Final STC value is set at install date based on the prevailing STC market price; any variance from the indicative figure is disclosed before install
- We never use door-to-door or high-pressure sales
4. Cooling-off period
You have 10 business days from signing the contract to change your mind and cancel without penalty. To exercise this right, email
admin@ampguruets.com.au within the cooling-off window. We will refund any deposit paid (other than the cost of work already approved and performed at your request).
5. Deposits & payment
- A deposit of up to 20% may be requested to secure your installation date and order equipment
- The deposit is held in our standard business account and is fully refundable during the cooling-off period
- Balance is payable on completion of installation and successful commissioning
- We accept bank transfer, EFTPOS and major credit cards
6. Warranties
Our workmanship warranty
We warrant our installation workmanship — including roof penetrations, mounting, electrical connections and commissioning — for a minimum of 5 years from installation date.
Equipment warranties
Equipment is covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty, typically:
- Solar panels — 10–25 years product / 25–30 years performance (varies by brand)
- Inverters — 5–15 years
- Tesla Powerwall — 10 years
- Other batteries — typically 10 years (varies by brand)
We register every warranty in your name and provide you with the documentation. If a warranty claim arises, we assist with the manufacturer process at no charge.
7. Statutory consumer guarantees

- We handle the STC application paperwork on your behalf — no action required from you after install
- For battery storage, we will advise on eligibility for the WA Residential Battery Scheme and any federal incentives that apply at the time of install
10. Cancellations after cooling-off
Cancellation after the 10 business day cooling-off period (and after equipment has been ordered or work scheduled) may incur a reasonable charge equal to costs already committed. We will detail any such charge to you in writing before action is taken.
11. Performance disclaimer
Any estimates of solar generation, battery savings or bill reductions discussed during the sale or shown in proposals are estimates only, based on average Perth conditions, your nominated usage profile, and current retail tariffs.
