Every installation is performed by appropriately licensed and accredited personnel and complies with the current edition of:
Grid connections are arranged in accordance with Western Power's Connection Application requirements and your retailer's metering arrangements.
We warrant our installation workmanship — including roof penetrations, mounting, electrical connections and commissioning — for a minimum of 5 years from installation date.

Cancellation after the 10 business day cooling-off period (and after equipment has been ordered or work scheduled) may incur a reasonable charge equal to costs already committed. We will detail any such charge to you in writing before action is taken.

If you already have solar, our Battery Starter Package (to 1 November 2026, standard installs) starts from $3,499 for a FoxESS EQ4800-L3 13.98 kWh battery with a free 5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter, fully installed and commissioned with monitoring app set-up. We also offer a FoxESS 5 kW inverter with a 23.3 kWh battery for $5,999 and a GoodWe 5 kW inverter with a 16.64 kWh battery for $7,999, fully installed including GST. Those prices already include the STC point-of-sale discount and the WA Residential Battery Scheme rebate for eligible homes. They are indicative starting prices for a standard single-storey Perth metro install — your final price is confirmed in a written quote after a free site assessment, as required under the New Energy Tech Consumer Code.
In most cases, yes. The WA Residential Battery Scheme requires you to join a virtual power plant, and for Synergy customers that means Synergy's Battery Rewards program. Battery Rewards is open to households on Home Plan (A1), Home Business Plan (K1), Midday Saver or the Electric Vehicle Add On. You also need a reliable internet connection at the property and cannot have life support equipment registered at the address.
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program is different — it has no tariff requirement at all. The battery only needs to be VPP-capable and paired with solar; you do not have to actually join a VPP. We check both when we quote.
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do in Cannington, Beckenham and Queens Park where a lot of solar was installed five to ten years ago. Current retrofit pricing starts from $3,499 for our Battery Starter Package — a FoxESS EQ4800-L3 13.98 kWh battery with a free 5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter — plus FoxESS 5 kW + 23.3 kWh for $5,999 and GoodWe 5 kW + 16.64 kWh for $7,999 including GST, fully installed with a hybrid inverter and smart monitoring. Your existing panels usually stay exactly where they are.
Most single-storey residential installs are completed in one day on site. The paperwork around it takes longer: we lodge your Synergy Distributed Energy System application and the Western Power embedded generation application before install, and complete the notice of completion, electrical safety certificate and DER testing afterwards. We handle all of it — you do not need to deal with Synergy or Western Power yourself.
We hold WA electrical contractor licence EC 17236, are SAA-accredited for solar and battery installation (S2217246), Tesla Powerwall certified, an accredited Plenti vendor and a NETCC Approved Seller. All work is designed and commissioned to AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777 and AS/NZS 5139, plus Western Power's network connection requirements. Packages come with a 5-year workmanship warranty and 10-year manufacturer warranties.
